Rarity

DALL-E was an artistically oriented model in which stochastic interpretation of the prompt played a key role: each new image could differ significantly from the previous one based on the same prompt, and it could include unexpected details and artifacts. This was the creative spark of the AI, thanks to which SYNTHETIC SAKURA acquired a number of properties that we can regard as rarity—and thus value—within this collection:

Curated Generativity: From the diversity of results obtained from the same prompt (or a group of related prompts), a human recognizes a spark or an error/artifact. You yourselves will evaluate the images on a scale from astonishing to unremarkable. This is a subjective approach. Your perspective may be polar opposite—either you seek aesthetically perfectly generated images, or, conversely, your goal is glitches and artifacts.

Post-Intentional Art: The result was not preconceived. This is the most astonishing feature of the collection. All prompts were minimalist, without detailed descriptions of the scene—none of this dynamic diversity in each branch of the collection was planned by the author; it emerges from repeated generations of the same request and represents DALL-E's own creative intent. This is especially true for artifacts and glitches. The image generation process resembled a public mint overflowing with anticipation for a rare NFT. For example (I will definitely mention this on Discord), in completely unrelated branches and in very, very rare cases, the AI draws our heroine with charming protruding ears—I have no idea why it liked that image so much. 

Sometimes DALL-E's quirks range from visually appealing images to strange and occasionally shocking ones, even though they are still based on the same prompt. And, of course, glitches—as an integral part of the collection: almost always these are distorted hands and fingers, in some branches—faces, in others—parts of the environment or clothing. Another, more serious glitch is extra limbs on the character. But there are also truly bizarre anomalies—artifacts. Things that were not in the prompt and not even in the context of that prompt. For example, we see mysterious phantom characters in the background behind our heroine, faces on trees, and finally, the strangest artifact: our heroine depicted as various animals (yes, this really happened, and the reason remains a mystery!). These are extremely rare cases, and there are only a few such NFTs. All these anomalies will be described separately on Discord.
